We're a bunch of folks who want to help grow and promote OpenStreetMap here in Canada. At the moment we are based in our nation's capital: Ottawa, Ontario. We currently have small meetups every month to chat and share ideas. Check out the events page for when our next meetup will be.

The mission of OSM Canada is to promote the development and use of OpenStreetMap in Canada. That will be done by:

  • advocating for OSM's use in Canada
  • developing open source tools that help people contribute to use OSM
  • improving OSM
  • fostering collaboration amongst people and organization working with OSM
  • contributing to OSM's goals world-wide through activities like Humanitarian OpenStreetMap
